Barsha Heights, still called Tecom by half the people who live here, is one of those pockets of Dubai that never quite settled into one identity. It's got some of the highest concentration of studio and one-bedroom rentals in the city, a good number of them booked as short-term stays, alongside cluster buildings where the ground and lower floors run as small offices for media, marketing and freelance-visa companies.
