What Electrical Work Looks Like in DAMAC Lagoons

DAMAC Lagoons is built as a string of separately themed clusters — Santorini, Venice, Costa Brava, Portofino, Nice, Andalusia and more — each with its own architectural quirks, and that variety shows up in the electrical work too. A call-out in one cluster can look completely different from one two streets over, depending on the layout the builder used for that particular phase.

Because so much of the community is still being handed over in waves, a large share of what we do is snagging-related: a socket plate that wasn't seated properly, an outdoor circuit that failed testing under real load once the family moved in, or a smart panel that needs its final setup before DEWA will sign off. On the slightly older handovers, we're starting to see the more familiar pattern of villa life — boards needing an upgrade once a second AC or a home office setup gets added, and kitchen circuits under more pressure than the original spec allowed for.

Outdoor wiring gets more attention here than in most communities, given how much of DAMAC Lagoons is built around courtyards, floating amenities and shared lagoon frontage — everything needs to be damp-rated and properly earthed.
